This feature enables you to protect important images to ensure that they
are not inadvertently erased.

Protecting an image

Set the mode select dial to "P" and turn
the camera on.

Press the MENU button K to display the menu icons.

Use the left l or right r button to select
[PROTECT]

and then press the OK

Use the left l or right r button to select the image to be
protected.

Press the up button u and select [SET]
and then press the OK button E.
The [

] icon appears on protected images.

To protect another image, repeat steps 4 and 5.

Important
[ERASE ALL] (Æ p.105) does not erase protected images. However, [FORMAT] (Æ p.151)
