Printer Operation
Loading the Media
To load roll media, complete these steps:
1.
Open the printhead.
2.
See
. Slide the media guide away from the printer frame. You may need to
loosen the media guide thumb screw.

Place the roll of media on the media hanger.
4.
Push the media core toward the printer frame. Make sure that the labels are aligned with
the media core.

Adjust the media guide on the media hanger so it just touches but does not restrict the
media.

. Feed the media under the media guide roller and under the upper media
sensor assembly.

Important •
Be sure to thread the media under the upper media sensor assembly and the
ribbon guide roller. If you thread the media over these, the media blocks the ribbon sensor.
