Restoring Factory Configurations
If necessary, you can restore the unit to its original factory configuration. This command puts the unit into a
known state, which can help you when troubleshooting, and also provides an easy way to remove custom
configuration settings when you deinstall a unit.

To restore the factory configuration
1.
From the Main Menu, select System Commands and press
Enter
. The System Commands menu is
displayed.
2.
Select Restore Factory Configuration and Reboot and press
Enter
. The unit’s
configuration is restored to the original factory settings when the unit reboots.
! Important
When you restore factory configurations, the login passwords reset
automatically to default values (user and supervisor).
