This document describes the use of ZONITH Bluetooth LE ID Badge™. 

The purpose of the ZONITH Bluetooth LE ID Badge™ is to protect the 
person wearing the ID badge by being able to track its position and also 
by being able to raise a panic alarm from the button at the back. 

The user can insert their own identity card to the ZONITH Bluetooth LE 
ID Badge™. The ZONITH Bluetooth LE ID Badge™ supports standard 
identity and access cards with the following dimensions: 85.60 × 53.98 
mm.

technical specifications. 

The ZONITH Bluetooth LE ID Badge™ works in conjunction with the 
ZONITH Bluetooth based indoor positioning system (RTLS) and the 
alarm handling solution ZONITH Alarm Control System (ACS).

• Only operate the Bluetooth LE ID Badge™ in accordance with its

purpose.

• Do not operate or charge this product near any liquid(s).
• Do not use abrasives, thinners, alcohol, solvents or aerosol cleaners

that may cause damage to the Bluetooth LE ID Badge™.

• If the die-cast chassis or other parts are damaged, do not touch the

damaged parts.

• This product contains a lithium-polymer rechargeable battery, which is

permanently built-in. To dispose of, be sure to comply with the laws
and regulations in your country or region.

• Do not charge for longer than the specified time.
• Do not bend or drop the product, or otherwise expose it to strong

physical impact.

• Never disassemble or modify the product.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures, high humidity or

direct sunlight.

• If a neck strap is used, take care not to let the strap get caught on

nearby machines, doors or other objects.

ZONITH warrants this product against defects in materials or workmanship for a period 
of one year from the date of retail purchase. ZONITH will repair or replace a defective 
unit, at our discretion, without charge for parts or labor. It does not cover damage or 
failure caused by attributable to Acts of God, abuse, misuse, improper or abnormal 
usage, faulty installation, improper maintenance, lightning, incidences of excessive 
voltage, or any tampering or repairs carried out anywhere other than a ZONITH 
authorized repair facility. It does not cover replacement of consumable parts, 
transportation costs, or damage caused during transit. 

Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty does not extend the terms of this 
warranty. This warranty can only be modified by an officer of ZONITH and then only by 
writing. Should this product prove defective in workmanship or material, the consumer’s 
sole remedies shall be such repair or replacement as provided by the terms of this 
warranty. Under no circumstances shall ZONITH be liable for any loss or damage, direct, 
consequential, or incidental, arising out of the use of or inability to use this product. Some 
states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusions or 
limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions 
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. There may also be 
other warranty rights, which may vary, from country to country. 

The wireless communication used by the Bluetooth LE ID Badge is an open standard, 
unsecured technology. ZONITH is not liable for the Bluetooth technology itself or 
problems that arise from the use of the Bluetooth technology. 

Under no circumstances shall ZONITH be responsible for any loss or damage, including 
personal injury or death, resulting from anyone's use of the product, 

incorrect or faulty 

network infrastructure, incorrect tuning or setup of the Bluetooth network, lack of power, 
jamming, lack of training or other factors.
