Removing the Protective Sheet

Open the ADF cover (1) and then re-
move the protective sheet (2).

Look at the rear of the machine and
note the locations of the slots for in-
sertion of the upper paper tray on both
sides.

To install the upper paper tray, press
down on both sides of the tray, making
sure that it is inserted as far as it will go.

Paper will not be fed correctly into the ma-
chine if the upper paper tray is not inserted
