• Default setting: 

You must let the receiver know if
surround back speaker(s) have
been connected, and how big they
are. The size you choose (large or
small) determines how much bass
is sent from the receiver to the
speakers. If you have connected a
surround back subwoofer, you
should select the surround back
subwoofer setting (

SB SUBWF)

from the options. Choose 
(asterisk) if no speaker is con-
nected.

• Default setting: 

You can have the receiver auto-
matically switch to Dolby Digital
Surround EX or DTS-ES decoding
for 6.1 encoded sources (

AUTO), or you can choose to listen
to other kinds of sources (for
example, 5.1 encoded material)
with 6.1 encoding (

6.1 FIX). With

5.1 encoded sources, a surround
back channel will be generated,
but the material may sound better
in the 5.1 format for which it was
originally encoded.

• If you chose 

SB  in Surround

back speaker setting (above),
you can’t set the 6.1 channel
setting and 

 shows in the

display.

6.1聲道設定
（僅適於VSX–D811S）

默認設定︰6.1 FIX

可以將接收機自動切換至杜比數碼
環繞聲EX或者DTS－ES解碼以播放
6.1編碼的音源（6.1 AUTO），或
者可以選擇收聽其他帶6.1編碼
（6.1 FIX）的音源類型（例如，5.
1編碼音源）。對於5.1編碼的音
源，將產生一個後置環繞聲聲道，
但由於播放內容原本以5.1格式編
製，所以在5.1格式中效果可能會
更好。

如果在後置環繞聲揚聲器設定
（見上）中選擇SB ，則不能
設置為6.1聲道設定，顯示屏
