Disappearing the guidelines
1
Display the Setup display.
For details on displaying the Setup display, see 
“Displaying the Setup display” on page 34.

Select FRAME by pressing v or V of the control 
button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The frame select display appears.

Select FRAME OFF by pressing v or V of the 
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The guidelines disappear, and the Setup display is 
retrieved.
Setting Power Save Mode 
(POWER SAVE)
When the power save mode is set (3 MINUTES or 10 
MINUTES), the LCD is automatically turned off after 
the set period has elapsed with no operation. To 
reactivate the LCD, press any button of the camera.

Select POWER SAVE by pressing v or V of the 
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Power Save display appears.

Select the time for activation of power save mode 
by pressing v or V of the control button.
OFF: Power save mode is not set.
3 MINUTES: The camera enters the power save 
mode when three minutes have elapsed.
10 MINUTES: The camera enters the power save 
mode when ten minutes have elapsed.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The selected time for activation of power save mode 
is set, and the Setup display is retrieved.
