possible to deliver an SMS, e.g. because the receiver's tele-

the validity period and repeated attempts to deliver are
made. If the SMS cannot be delivered within the validity

SMS to a PABX
You can only receive an SMS when the Calling Line
Identification is forwarded to the extension of the
PABX (CLIP). The CLIP evaluation of the number of the
SMS centre takes place in your telephone.
Depending on your PABX, you may have to add the
access code (external line prefix) before the number of
the SMS centre. You can store the access code in your
telephone.
If in doubt, test your PABX e.g. by sending an SMS to
your own phone number, once with and once without
the access code.
When you send text messages, your sender number may
be sent without your extension number. In this case, the
recipient cannot reply to you directly.
Sending and receiving SMS on ISDN PABXs is only possible
via the MSN number assigned to your telephone.
Activating/deactivating the SMS function
When you switch off you cannot send or receive any text
messages with your phone.
Settings which you have made for sending and receiving
text messages (the numbers of SMS centres) and any entries
in the incoming message and draft message lists will be
retained even after the function is deactivated.
