Du kan spela in i bredbildsformatet 16:9 för att
sedan titta på inspelningen på en 16:9 bredbilds-
TV (16:9WIDE).
Svarta band visas på skärmen under inspelning i
läget 16:9WIDE [a]. Spelar du upp bilden på en
vanlig TV [b] eller en bredbilds-TV [c] trycks
bilden ihop på bredden. Ställer du in bredbilds-
TVn på fulläge visas bilden normalt [d].

(1) Välj 16:9WIDE under 

 i

menyinställningarna genom att vrida SEL/
PUSH EXEC-ratten i standbyläget, tryck
sedan på ratten (sid. 244).

(2) Välj ON genom att vrida SEL/PUSH EXEC-

ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.

Ställ 16:9WIDE på OFF i menyinställningarna.

I bredbildsläget
Du kan inte använda följande funktioner:
– OLD MOVIE
– BOUNCE
– Spela in stillbilder på ett “Memory Stick” i läget

för bandinspelning eller i standbyläge (gäller ej
DCR-TRV16E/TRV116E).

Under inspelning
Du kan inte välja eller avbryta bredbildsläget. Du
avbryter bredbildsläget genom att i standbyläget
ställa 16:9WIDE på OFF i menyinställningarna.

You can record a 16:9 wide picture to watch on a
16:9 wide-screen TV (16:9WIDE).
Black bands appear on the screen during
recording in 16:9WIDE mode [a]. The picture
during playback on a normal TV [b] or on a
wide-screen TV [c] is compressed in the longwise
direction. If you set the screen mode of the wide-
screen TV to the full mode, you can watch
pictures of normal images [d].

(1) In the standby mode, turn the SEL/PUSH

EXEC dial to select 16:9WIDE in 

 in the

menu settings, then press the dial (p. 235).

(2) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select ON,

then press the dial.

Set 16:9WIDE to OFF in the menu settings.

In the wide mode
You cannot select the following functions:
– OLD MOVIE
– BOUNCE
– Recording still images on a “Memory Stick” in

the tape recording or standby mode (except
DCR-TRV16E/TRV116E)

During recording
You cannot select or cancel the wide mode. When
you cancel the wide mode, set your camcorder to
the standby mode and then set 16:9WIDE to OFF
in the menu settings.
