OSD Operation - INSTALLATION
Projection Mode
Use the ◄► function to select a projection mode: Desktop Front, Desktop Rear, Ceiling 
Front, Ceiling Rear, Upward Front and Downward Front.
Note:
• In addition to fliping the projected image, the cooling fan will also be adjusted to the corresponding speed 
in order to maintain proper operating temperature of the projector.
• Incorrect Projection Mode setting may affect hot air exhausting from the projector the heat, high 
temperature may cause the projector goes into system protection , component damage or lamp damage.
• Brightness decay of upward or downward installation is faster than desktop or ceiling installation. Refer to 
laboratory test results, Lamp life may be reduced to 50-75% of the life which the projector is installed by 
Desktop or Ceiling installation. Recommend to regularly check the lamps and the brightness of projected 
image, please consult your local dealer if the projector will be installed upward or downward.
Standby Mode
Use the ◄► to select standby mode to Normal or Network Standby.
Network Standby: The projector maintains in the standby status at higher power (<6W) 
for the projector control via LAN. In this mode, the projector can be turned on via network 
control system.
Normal: The projector maintains in the standby status at the lowest power (<0.5W), the 
projector can be turned on using the remote control, RS-232 command.
High Altitude
Use this function to control the cooling fan of the projector, the default setting is OFF.
Normally, the projector can operate normally when this function is set to OFF. The projector 
detects ambient temperature to regulate the cooling fan speed. However, the projector 
may turn off automatically if it is used in an environment at excessively high temperature 
or in an area at a high altitude. In this case, please enable this function by setting it to ON 
and have the cooling fan operate at a higher speed to control the internal temperature of 
the projector.
Note:
• High Altitude mode is for the place at an altitude of more than 5000 feet.
