 USB indicator
 
This will light when you use the USB cable to connect the UA-20 to your computer, 
and the computer has recognized the UA-20.

 USB connector
 
Audio signals and MIDI signals can be transferred when the UA-20 is connected via 
a USB cable to your computer.
 
3.
 
 MIDI connector
 
Connect these connectors to a MIDI device (such as a sequencer) to exchange MIDI 
messages.

 Digital output connector
 
Connect a coaxial cable here when you want to digitally output an audio signal to 
a digital recorder such an MD or DAT.

 Master output jacks
 
These are output jacks for analog audio signals.

 Headphone volume
 
This adjusts the volume that is output from the 
 
Headphone jack
 
. It is not possible 
to adjust the volume that is output from the

 Input volume
 
This adjusts the volume at which the input signal from
