Signaling and Management Redundancy on RealPresence Collaboration Server 
(RMX) 4000
On the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000, for Signaling and Management Redundancy when 
LAN_REDUNDANCY = YES and MULTIPLE_SERVICES = NO, the LAN 3 port on the RTM-IP 4000 card 
is redundant to the LAN 2 port. LAN ports 4 and 5 are never used.

On the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1500/RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 
Signaling and Management Redundancy is implemented using the LAN ports on the RTM-IP card and is 
dependent on the settings of the LAN_REDUNDANCY and MULTIPLE_SERVICES System Flags as 
summarized in the following table.
