ROUBLESHOOTING
Boot-up and initialization are processes that occur when a card in an VCN 
AC slot is reset. Reset occurs when the user selects

Telnet Connection 
Problems
Telnet connection problems take two forms:

The user cannot connect the management computer to the 
management agent; refer to

An established Telnet session is broken; refer to

Inability to Connect
An inability to connect can have a number of causes which should be 
verified. Some problems are not location dependent while other problems 
are.
■
Perform these location independent checks:
■
You are using a good cable.
■
Your Telnet terminal emulation is VT100.
■
You are using the correct IP address of the management agent.
■
Your login ID and password are correct.
■
Another Telnet session does not exist.
Only one Telnet session is supported.
Ethernet selftest failed!
Hardware error during 
initialization

HDLC selftest failed!
Hardware error during

I2C selftest failed!
