4. Unbolt machine from pallet. Have an assis-
tant on the ground steady machine to prevent

5. Carefully place machine onto workbench or
optional stand.

To lift machine and place it in position:
1. Place shipping crate next to workbench (or
stand) where machine will be placed.
2. Use vertical handwheel to raise headstock as
far as possible (see
Figure 10). Lock head-
stock in place to avoid sudden shifts during
lifting.

workbench or the Model T26612 optional stand
