Used for scanning text, solids, line art and halftones.

Automatically adjusts the image quality based on the attributes 
of the original. Text/Photo can also be used to make copies of 
originals that contain halftones and different images.

Used for scanning continuous-tone photographs and high-
quality, high-frequency halftones.

Use the Original Type settings to define the type of images 
being scanned to enable the machine to produce the best 
image quality output available.

Load originals.
