The Pinnacle products PCTV Sat and PCTV Sat CI are described in this 
manual. 
Different features are expressly listed or described separately under the 
two product names in the appropriate places. 
The product designation "PCTV Sat" is used in the appropriate places in 
the manual when describing features, which are the same for both 
products. 

PCTV Sat is a PCI-Board containing a tuner for the reception of digital TV, 
radio and data signals from satellites (DVB-S). An additional feature is that 
it can also be used as a capture board. PCTV Sat offers complete TV 
functionality on your PC, and more besides – you can view TV and video 
pictures on your PC monitor in whatever image size you choose. Both 
single frames or video sequences can be digitized (i.e. recorded) and played 
back. 

PCTV Sat contains a digital satellite tuner allowing you to receive all the  

freely available (i.e. non-encrypted) television and radio signals 
according to the DVB-S standard fed from a digital satellite reception 
system (i.e. satellite dish plus universal LNB). 

PCTV Sat supports the following satellite system control mechanisms:

PCTV Sat is fitted with each a composite and an S-video input, to which 
you can connect a video recorder, DVD Player, camcorder or video camera.

contained in the Appendix at the end of this Manual. If you are still in

system.
