Nortel VPN Router Installation — VPN Router 2750
Verifying a successful installation
After you connect the gateway to the power source and turn it on, you can verify a
successful installation by checking the light emitting diodes (LED) on the front
panel (

The following sequence of LEDs should occur:

The power LED (the Nortel logo) lights blue.

The Alert LED lights red, and the Boot/Ready LED lights green.

For a newly installed VPN Router 2750, a yellow Alert LED does not indicate
an alarm condition. After you configure the gateway, the Alert LED turns off.

If the LEDs on the front panel light in this sequence, your installation is
successful. If the LEDs do not light in this sequence, check that you correctly
installed the bezel on the gateway and that you properly attached the power cord
to the power supply (see
