4.6.1 Network Descriptor Parameters
Parameters table
The following table summarizes the parameters comprised in the Network 
Descriptor:
Network name [name]
This name is used internally to identify the Network Descriptor.
Type of network and IP
address [type] and [ip]
The type and ip parameters locate the network in the IP address space. 
For ip, enter a value corresponding to the network type.

Mandatory. Symbolic name to identify the 
network.

Mandatory. A network can either be:
a single IP address
an IP subnet
an IP address range
IP address
ip
Mandatory. The IP address of the network
Protocol
proto
Optional. The communication protocol allowed on 
the secure network
Port
port
Optional. For UDP and TCP, the port number that is 
allowed to use the secure network.
type
ip
Valid network types 
are:
