Displaying event information on a console
Setup for display
In this example, Ether port is specified as the event information type, and error detection as the event in-
formation level. As the time stamp (selectable between event information generation time [timeofday] and
elapse of time since startup [uptime]), the generation time is specified.
Starting the display of event information
Start the display of event information in operation mode. As events occur, the event information specified
with the logging command is displayed on the console.
Stopping the display of event information
To stop the display of event information, use the event-terminal stop command.
MEMO:
If the In-Skin Router detects an event while you are entering this command, an event message
may be displayed following a part of the command character string you have entered, whereas
the subsequent part is erased from the screen. Even if this occurs, the In-Skin Router stores the
subsequent part and you need not re-type the event-terminal stop command from the beginning;
just keep on typing.
