negotiating capability on each

port. The RJ-45 conne

shielded to minimize 

emissions and will allow both 

unshielded twisted pair (UTP) 

and shielded twisted pair (STP) cable connections. The 6KP8-RJ45 module is equipped 

with a Media Dependent Auto-Crossover (MDI-X) switch, which controls all ports for 

connection. This feature eliminates the need for a special twisted pair crosso

cable when connecting to a hub or another switch.
