Text messages that cannot be sent are assigned an error status e.g. "Error FD" and are 

saved in the incoming message list.
The following error codes are displayed: 

You can display information about the cause of errors on the screen.
Precondition: You have opened the incoming message list (page 34).

E0

Calling Line Identification is permanently deactivated (page 12).

FE

Error occurred during message transfer.

FD

Connection to SMS centre failed.
Text messages cannot be sent or received if the number of an SMS cen-

tre is missing or incorrectly stored. Check that the number of the SMS 

centre has been correctly stored.

C45

Wrong recipient phone number.

Scroll to the text message you were unable to send.

Select the menu item and confirm. The cause of the 

error appears in the display. 

Now press the display key to return to the incoming 

message list.
