1. I inserted the U3 smart drive but nothing happened. What should I do?
Open Windows Explorer, locate the Removable Disk drive and click on LaunchU3.exe. The U3 Launchpad
will start. NOTE: Password-protected devices are not accessible on non-supported Operating Systems
e.g.Windows 98/Me , Mac & Linux

2. When I insert my U3 smart drive, several programs start up
simultaneously. How do I stop that?
To disable the auto run feature on a software program, open the U3 Launchpad and click on Manage U3
Programs. Next, click on the program you want to disable at startup. Uncheck the box marked Start on
insertion. The next time you insert your U3 smart drive, that program will not automatically run.

3. Can I remove installed programs?

Yes. Click on Manage U3 Programs on the U3 Launchpad and then click on the program name that you
would like to remove and press the Remove button. NOTE: Deletion is permanent. To reinstall programs
