Syslog Commands
no port
• port — The port number for syslog messages. (Range: 1-65535)
Default Configuration
The default port number is 514.

User Guidelines
After entering the view corresponding to a specific syslog server, the
command can be executed to set the port number for the server.
Example
The following example sets the syslog message port to 300.
console(config-logging)#port 300
show logging
Use the show logging command in Privileged EXEC mode to display the state
of logging and the syslog messages stored in the internal buffer.
