Enabling ARP Proxy
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a TCP/IP protocol that converts IP addresses into physical
addresses. The ARP Proxy page allows network managers to enable ARP Proxy on the switch.
To open the ARP Proxy page, click System
addresses. The ARP Proxy page allows network managers to enable ARP Proxy on the switch.
To open the ARP Proxy page, click System
→ IP Addressing→ ARP Proxy in the tree view.

The ARP Proxy field enables the device to respond to ARP requests for located nodes. If disabled,
the device responds with its own MAC address
