Selecting the Language

Your cordless telephone automatically adopts the language
setting of the device during registration. You can set a dif-
ferent language for the display of the cordless telephone.
All languages are not available on the cordless telephone.

Adopting the Language Setting

Press [, and using [ to select SETTINGS.

Confirm with OK.

Using [ select LANGUAGE.

Confirm with OK.

Press õ EDIT ENTRY.

Use [ to select the desired display language.

Confirm with OK.

Press [, and using [ to select RINGER TYPE.

Confirm with OK.

Using [ indicate, whether you would like to set the
ring tone for internal or external calls.

Confirm with OK.

Select the desired ring tone using [.

Confirm with OK.

Using [, set the volume.

Confirm with OK.

Press [, and using [ to select RINGER TYPE.

Confirm with OK.

Using [ select BEEPS.

Confirm with OK.

Using [, select whether you would like to turn the
key-tones, the notification tone for low battery charge
or the confirmation tone when replacing the cordless
telephone in the charging station on or off.

Confirm with OK.

Press õ EDIT ENTRY to switch the function on/off.

Confirm with OK.

Silent Mode

In the silent mode, all ring tones, alarm tones and key
tones of the cordless telephone are turned off. However,
you can still place a call.

Press [, and using [ to select RINGER TYPE.

Confirm with OK.

Using [ select SILENT MODE.

Confirm with OK.

Using ô select Yes to switch on the function. Using
õ

 select No to switch on the function.

Programmable Keys

Your cordless telephone has two programmable keys õ and
ô

, to which you can assign functions for the quick access.

The selected functions appear as display text at the lower
edge of the display.
Press õ and/or ô to access the function. You can assign
the answering machine functions, silent mode, alarm
clock, timer, keypad lock, number (= specific telephone
number) or redialling to the keys.

Press [, and using [ to select SETTINGS.

Confirm with OK.

Using [ select PROGRAM KEYS.

Confirm with OK.

Press õ EDIT ENTRY to assign a function to the left
programmable key.

Select the desired function using [.

Confirm with OK.

Press õ EDIT ENTRY to assign a function to the right
programmable key.

Select the desired function using [.

Confirm with OK.

Automatic Picking up and Hanging up the Phone

These functions enable you to accept or end call by picking
up the cordless telephone from the charging station or
placing it back into the charging station respectively.

Navigating in the Menu
Press  C to return to the previous menu level.
Press  ’ to close the menu and return to the
starting mode.

Adopting the Language Setting
The cordless telephone adopts the language set-
ting of the device when you change it on the
device (also see Chapter Settings on the device,
Page 35)
