Power over Ethernet Commands
power inline
The 
port inline
 Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command configures the 
administrative mode of inline power on an interface.
Syntax
power inline
 
{auto | never}
Parameters
auto — 
Enables the device discovery protocol and, if found, supplies power 
to the device.
never — 
Disables the device discovery protocol and stops supplying power 
to the device.
Default Setting
The device discovery protocol is enabled.

Command Usage
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example enables powered device discovery protocol on port 1/e1, so 
that power will be supplied to a discovered device.
