Mounting the Dome E4c Display
Ask someone to help you lift and mount the display.  You also need a protective cloth on which to put the display
screen-down (on a flat surface) to adjust and remove the mounting screws.
Loosen the four top mounting
screws until they protrude halfway
from the display.  The screws must still
be firmly seated.  Completely remove
the four bottom screws.
With a person on each side, lift the
display and set the protruding screws
into the top screw slots to hook the
display onto the mounting bracket.
Insert the four bottom screws into
the mounting bracket and the display.
Tighten all the screws. Use the lever on
the bracket to adjust the tilt position
of the display.
FIVE: Connecting the Power Cords and Video Cables
Refer to the display documentation for proper connection of the video cables, that is, from the display to the display
controller.  After you make the connections, you can check that the cables are neatly routed and firmly attached to the cart.
Plug the power and video cables
into each display.  The video cable for
the first display is marked with tape.
Plug the power cord into
the computer.
Plug the video cables into the
computer.  (The cable for the first
display plugs into the top port.)
Plug the keyboard and mouse
cables into the computer.
Plug all power cords into the
power strip.  Use the cable ties to
bundle and secure the cords and
cables.  (If using a UPS, plug the power
cords into the power strip, plug the
strip cord into the UPS, and plug the
UPS cord into a grounded outlet.)
Plug the power strip cord into
a grounded outlet.  Be sure that you
make the connection to the power
source last.  Refer to the display
documentation before powering on
the system.
SIX: Installing the Software
To finish the integration, install the display driver and the Dome CXtra software onto the computer hard drive.  Install the
display driver before you install the software.  Refer to the display or software documentation for more information.
