GENERAL OPERATIONS

The unit bracket can be used to secure the
Traffic Assist Highspeed directly to the
windshield or dashboard.

The unit bracket can be secured directly
to the inside of the windshield or to the
dashboard.

Please check local and state traffic regula-
tions prior to installation of the unit.  For
example, there may be regulations in
your state which forbid mounting the
unit/bracket on the windshield.
HARMAN/BECKER assumes no liabili-
ty for driver errors or the non-observance
of applicable laws.

Note:
The Traffic Assist Highspeed and unit
bracket must not be exposed to long pe-
riods of direct sunlight. Temperatures in-
side the vehicle of +70 C and higher may
damage parts of the bracket.

• Fasten the unit holder such that your

field of vision is not impaired when the
Traffic Assist Highspeed is installed.

• Ensure the unit is installed outside the

deployment zone of the airbags.  Air-
bag deployment could dislodge the
unit and propel it toward an occupant
or impair the function of the airbags,
resulting in personal injury or death.

contact the manufacturer of your vehi-
cle for more information.

• Ensure that the electrical connection

cable does not hamper you from ac-
cessing the vehicle's controls such as
the steering wheel and foot pedals.
