2-Way, 6.5” Speakers with Unprecedented Temperature, Humidity and Shock Resistance:
• Ideal for outdoor, marine, spa, showers or steam-room applications
• Available in Rectangle, Round and Single Stereo Round Models
• Ideal for situations requiring Symphony-level sonic performance in highly adverse
environmental conditions
Special Materials and Unique Construction Enables Symphony Extreme to Perform
Indefinitely Under Severe Conditions:
• Using a combination of advanced polymers and anti-corrosion technologies, Extreme models can
withstand ambient temperatures from –30 to +220 degrees F (-34 to 104 degrees C), long term
exposure to UV radiation, steam etc.
• Black anodized, 6.5 inch (165mm) aluminum cone woofer paired with a 1 inch (25mm)
polyurethane dome tweeter deliver great sound and a long service life
• Proprietary polymer baffle materials, powder-coated stainless steel grilles and special hardware were
carefully chosen for their extreme weather-resistant properties
• Highly-durable O-ring gasket between the frame and baffle along with a neoprene gasket between
the frame and mounting surface provide watertight seals
• To survive the physical abuse typical of boats and other watercraft, all crossover components are
tie-wrapped down to the crossover PCB for excellent shock resistance
Shallow Depth Permits Installation in More Applications, Such as Urban Residential,
Marine and Aviation:
• Extreme XT in-wall speaker is only 2-1/2” (63.5mm) deep and easily fits in a 2’ x 4’ wall and
ultra-shallow cavities, such as in boats
• Extreme XTR in-ceiling speaker is only 3-5/8” (92mm) deep and will also fit in 2’ x 4’ walls and
other shallow cavities
• Extreme XSSTR, Single Stereo Technology Round in-ceiling speaker is 5-3/16” (132mm) deep and
was designed for standard ceiling applications
