Low Battery
Low Battery Warning
When the battery is low, a low battery warning is issued (See the "Diagnosis Chart" section). If 
printing of the page is not finished yet, you can either: 
z
Connect the printer to an AC outlet. Then press the ON LINE switch to resume printing. 
z
If AC outlet is not available, you can use the remaining battery power for limited printing. 
Pressing the ON LINE switch each time prints several lines, until the battery pack is totally 
exhausted; then a low battery error is issued. 
 
Low Battery Error
When the battery pack is totally exhausted, a low battery error is issued (See the "Diagnosis 
chart" section). Recharging is required before it can operate again. If you have work still in 
printing, the only way to continue is to plug the printer into an AC outlet.
 
Errors Not Displayed Via Any Indicator

(The buzzer sounds 5 times. The POWER indicator blinks 
every half a second for about 5 minutes, then the buzzer 
sounds for one second, then the printer automatically turns 
off.) The battery is exhausted. To remedy, see below on 
low battery error.

(The buzzer sounds 5 times.) If the problem persists even 
after recharging the battery pack 2 or 3 times, the battery 
pack has expired and can no longer be recharged. 
Replace with a new one.

(The buzzer sounds 3 times, and the indicators blink in 
every 1/4 second, for 1 minute. Then, the buzzer sounds 
for one second and the printer is automatically turned off.) 
There is a hardware error.
Turn the printer off and then back on again to reset it.
Caution
Replacing the battery pack at the middle of printing will result in loss of all data 
still remaining in the printer buffer.
