For Association, select OpenWPA, or Network EAP and

TKIP if you choose WPA, and to WEP if you choose OPen or 
Network EAP.

Using Static WEP Security
The CN2A uses the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) protocol to 
add security to your wireless network based on the 802.11b 
standard. 
To use WEP security, you need:
• an access point with an 802.11b/g radio.
• a CN2A mobile computer with an 802.11b/g radio.
Configuring Static WEP Security With Funk Security 
Follow these steps to configure static WEP security with Funk 
Security.
To configure static WEP security with Funk Security

Make sure you have configured the communications and 
radio parameters on your CN2A.

Make sure you have selected Funk as your security choice, as 
described in “Choosing Between Funk Security and Microsoft 
Security Software” on page 50.

Open Intermec Settings.
Note: You can use Prompt for password to troubleshoot your 
connection to the network if you have problems.
