Auto Image Correction automatically optimizes the contrast, brightness, and
saturation of the displayed image for best appearance.

To use Auto Image Correction, while in View mode tap Auto Image Correction in
the Image menu. Correction starts and the cursor changes to an hourglass icon.
After correction is completed, a message appears.

Tap 

, then either save or discard the corrected image.

  After using Auto Image Correction to optimize an image, menu functions such as

Decrease Color Depth and Make Movie are disabled until the changes have
been saved or discarded. To discard the changes, tap the 

 button and

then tap 

 in the dialog box that appears.

  This feature does not always improve the result. Depending on the image data,

the image may appear worse than when this feature is not used.
