Connecting to the Side Battery Terminal

Remove both battery terminal side post bolts from the vehicle
battery.

Screw a 3/8" nut as far as it will go onto a 3/8" x 1 1/2" post

Slip a 3/8" washer
onto the battery terminal post.

Slide the positive (red wire) fuse link terminal ring from the
battery cable onto the positive (

Slip a second 3/8" washer onto the battery terminal post.

Slide the vehicle positive battery cable onto the battery
terminal post.

Thread the post assembly (Steps 2-6) into the positive battery
terminal. Tighten the battery terminal post securely.

Tighten the nut installed in Step 2 to secure washers
and
cables firmly in place.
