Charging Battery Packs in the AC Adapt-
er/Recharger

Inserting the Battery
1. Plug the AC power cord of the AC adapter/recharger into an AC
power outlet. The power lamp lights green.
2. Install a battery pack in the AC adapter/recharger oriented as
shown in the diagram.
3. The external battery pack charging lamp lights orange.
4. When charging is complete, the charging lamp turns off. Be-
cause the battery packs are still not fully charged after the lamps
turn off, allow charging to continue for at least an additional
hour.
About 3.5 hours are required to charge two fully discharged battery
packs.
