Charging Battery Packs
1. Plug the AC power cord of the AC adapter/recharger into an AC
power outlet. The power lamp lights green.
2. Connect the AC adapter/recharger to the pen computer (with a
battery pack already installed in the pen computer ).
3. Install a battery pack in the AC adapter/recharger.
4. The internal battery pack charging lamp lights orange, and the

external battery pack charging lamps start flashing slowly. Once
the internal battery packs in the pen computer is charged, the
internal battery pack charging lamp turns off. The external bat-
tery pack in the AC adapter/recharger is charged next.
5. The external battery pack charging lamp lights orange. When
charging is complete, the external battery pack charging lamp
turns off.Because the battery packs are still not fully charged
after the lamps turn off, allow charging to continue for at least an
additional hour.

The battery packs in the pen computer are always charged first.
