code. Refer to the “General Programming Chart” in Appendix B.

If Full ASCII Code 39 decoding is turned on, certain character pairs within the bar code
will be interpreted as a single character. For example, $V will be decoded as the ASCII
character SYN, and /C will be decoded as the ASCII character #.

The following table shows certain characters on the right and their Code 39 equivalents
on the left.
