Foreign Device Interface (FDI)
A third party access and accounting device such a coin-operated or a card reader 
can be attached to the machine. To enable this option, the Foreign Device 
Interface kit must be installed. Follow the installation instructions which are 
supplied with the kit.
Once the FDI kit is installed, the Administrator must enable the FDI using 
CentreWare Internet Services, as follows:
Authentication and Accounting
Authentication works independently of any accounting access that is enabled on 
the machine. If an accounting feature requires a user to enter account details, this 
will be required in addition to the authentication service that has been enabled.

Immediate Image Overwrite
Immediate Image Overwrite
 is a security measure for customers who are 
concerned about unauthorized access and duplication of classified or private 
documents.
The Immediate Image Overwrite feature erases all residual image data from the 
machine immediately after each job has been processed without requiring the 
machine to be taken offline.
When the Network Controller is fitted, the feature overwrites the following jobs:
Print
Scanning 
Server Fax send (when an Embedded Fax card is also fitted and enabled)
When the Embedded Fax card is fitted and enabled, the feature overwrites the 
following jobs:
Embedded Fax receive
Embedded Fax send
Server Fax send (when a Network Controller is fitted)
Embedded Fax report

 is a security measure for customers who are
