Installing a New Lamp
Changing  the Lamp
ATTENTION:  HTI-lamps are metal halide lamps which build-up high pressure while
in use.  THEY CAN EASILY BURST WHILE HOT.
While in use, the lamps emit an intensive ultra-violet ray, which can be extremely
dangerous for eyes and skin.  LOOKING DIRECTLY INTO THE LIGHT BEAM CAN
CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE RETINA.  AVOID LOOKING DIRECTLY
INTO THE LIGHT BEAM.
When the lamp is off and cold there is no danger. So make sure when changing the
lamp that it is cold and completely turned off.  Make sure to use no force on the
lamp when changing.
Change the lamp as follows:
1. UNPLUG THE PROJECTOR!
2 Open the screw at the lamp-door and remove the lamp-door.
3. Now you can see the lamp module. You will see two screws, one on the
bottom left-hand side and one on the top right-hand side. Please, remove both.

projector are not
warm to the touch
before starting to
change the lamp.
