Insert two AAA batteries into the flash.
Turn the flash on and set the mode dial of 
the camera to AUTO.
When the CHG lamp on the flash lights up, 
press the shutter button to take a photo.
 Shooting a portrait indoors
 (bounce flash illumination)
The photo will have natural soft shadows.
Attach the flash to the camera before 
turning the camera on.
Ceiling etc. less than 3 m (9.8 ft.) high (preferably near-white)
Flash power-on
Refer to the operating instructions for more details on using the flash and its other functions.
 Shooting a portrait outdoors
The light reaches further from the camera.
If the shot looks dark, try to get closer to the subject or increase 
the ISO sensitivity.
Insérez deux piles AAA dans le flash.
Mettez le flash sous tension et réglez le 
sélecteur de mode de l’appareil photo sur 
AUTO. 
Lorsque le témoin CHG sur le flash  
s’éclaire, appuyez sur le déclencheur pour 
prendre une photo.
Fixez le flash sur l’appareil photo avant  
d’allumer l’appareil photo.

La portée de la lumière est plus grande que celle de l’appareil 
photo.
Si la photo semble trop sombre, essayez de vous rapprocher du 
sujet ou augmentez la sensibilité ISO.
