Environmental Requirements
To have proper operation of the DAS3 Series system depends on a proper environment. This section
describes environmental requirements for the site in which you intend to install the DAS3 Series
system.

Temperature Humidity and Altitude
The system can tolerate a wide range of temperatures. Table 3-1 shows the recommendation for
temperature, humidity, and altitude conditions in a central office (CO) environment.

Ventilation
The DAS3 Series fans maintain a suitable operating temperature for the internal circuitry. Ensure that
the air intake vents at the left side of the box and the air exhaust vents on the right side of the box are
not obstructed in anyway.
