Installing the DAS3 Series

Connecting the RJ-45 Network Uplink Interface

Complete the following steps to connect the RJ-45 network uplink.

To ensure the 1000 Base-T performance, please using the standard Category 5, 6, 7 Ethernet UTP
cable.

Front Panel RJ-45 Network Uplink Cabling for DAS3 Series

Step 1

Connect one end of the RJ-45 to the “GigE 1” or “GigE 2” port on the DAS3 Series front
panel.

Step 2

Connect the other end of RJ-45 to the Layer 2 / Layer 3 switch router of provider’s IP
network.
