The IP addresses in this appendix are only examples. You can adjust the settings and 
configuration to suit your network.
While you configure the VPN router, some settings that you specify are also used to configure 
the VPN client computer. You can print the following table to keep track of this information.

Use the Router’s VPN Wizard to Configure a VPN Gateway
The router’s web management interface includes a VPN Wizard that lets you easily set up the 
router as a VPN gateway that can connect to VPN clients.
You can use the router’s VPN Wizard or set up the VPN connection manually. NETGEAR 
recommends using the VPN Wizard, which is easier. The VPN Wizard configures the default 
settings and provides basic interoperability so that the VPN gateway can communicate with 
NETGEAR or third-party VPN devices.
To use the router’s VPN Wizard to set up a VPN gateway:
