The Job Separation Event function is used to define a series of reports (or jobs)
within a single print file. It can also be used to accommodate ‘Banner’ pages
included within the data file.

By using logical job or report boundaries, it is possible to break a large print file
into many smaller print files.

All job-start functions, such as resetting a cycle-form list, deletion of data at start of
report and so on, will apply to these logical jobs.

 

A Job Separation Event is equivalent to an RSTACK in Xerox 9700 JSL.
