The Menu Bar
Across the top of the window is the menu bar
with drop-down menus for all the
functions of the Environment Editor. Menus are displayed by clicking on the
required menu name in the menu bar.
Many items on the menu bar can also be accessed from the tool bars or through the
shortcut keys listed next to a menu option. For example,
Alt+O will open an
environment into the Environment Editor.
The Form Editor menu bar displays the File, System, View and Tools menus only.
The function of each menu, menu options and associated dialogues for both editors
are fully described in the PARIS Designer Reference Manual
.
The Status Bar
The status bar displays the page co-ordinates, (Abs. and Rel.) and the page you are
on (e.g. Page 1/1). Messages such as ‘Ready’ will also appear to the left of the
status bar.
Page  co-ordinates
The page co-ordinates indicate the current position of the cursor. The values are
based on the grid measurements specified in System Settings
 and use the top left
corner of the page as the origin (that is, 0, 0).
