Specifying a printer

Note: To find the name of your computer and local
printer, click the Windows Start button, point to
Settings, and click Control Panel. Double-click
Network. The computer’s name appears in the
Computer Name box. Click the Cancel button. In the
Control Panel, double-click Printers. Right-click the
local printer and click Properties. Click the Ports tab.
The printer’s name is highlighted. Enter this name
printer, click the Windows Start button, point to
Settings, and click Control Panel. Double-click
Network. The computer’s name appears in the
Computer Name box. Click the Cancel button. In the
Control Panel, double-click Printers. Right-click the
local printer and click Properties. Click the Ports tab.
