Setting up the Remote Print Service (RPS)

To production print remotely from a DigiPath workstation, you
must set up the Remote Print Service on both the remote and
local systems.

To set up the Remote Print Service:
1. Select [Start: Settings: Control Panel] from the Windows
desktop.
2. Double-click on the [Administrative Tools] icon.
3. Double-click on the [Services] icon. The Services console
opens.
4. Scroll through the Services list box and highlight [Remote
Print Service].
5. If the Remote Print Service has been started, stop the service
by selecting [Action: Stop].
6. Select [Action: Properties]. The Remote Print Service
Properties dialog box opens.
7. Select the [Log On] tab.
8. Under Log on as, select the [This account] radio button.
9. Select [Browse]. The Select User dialog box opens.
