SSDP
Allows you to configure the SSDP (Simple Service Discovery Protocol) for Universal Plug and Play
settings on the device. SSDP provides a mechanism where by network clients, with little or no static
configuration, can discover network services. SSDP accomplishes this by providing for multicast
discovery support as well as server based notification and discovery routing.

At your Workstation, open the web browser and enter the IP address of the device in the Address
bar, and press [Enter].

Click on the [Properties] tab.

If prompted, enter the Administrator User ID and Password. The default is [admin] and [1111].

Click on the [Login] button.

Click on the [Connectivity] link.

Click on the [Protocols] link.

Select [SSDP] in the directory tree.

In the [General] area:

For Protocol, check the [Enabled] checkbox to enable SSDP.

range is from 1 to 43200 and default is 1440.

Configure Microsoft Networking
1.
