Enhanced 

Enhanced is the best print-quality mode for business presentations. This 

mode produces superior text resolution and smooth light colors. Enhanced 

mode takes longer to process and print than Standard or Fast Color. The 

default mode is Enhanced. 

Photo 

Photo is the highest print-quality mode for color prints and provides the best 

detail and smoothness for photo images. This mode produces the 

highest-quality color prints, with the best text resolution and smoothest light 

colors. Photo mode takes longer to process and print than other print-quality 

modes.

  At the printer control panel, use the arrows to navigate to Printer Setup, then press OK. 

2.

  Navigate to PostScript Setup, then press OK. 

3.

  Navigate to Print-Quality Mode, then press OK. 

4.

  Select the desired mode, then press OK. 

 

 

Description 

PCL Standard Mode 

PCL Standard mode is the general-purpose print-quality mode for full-speed 

printing. The default setting is Standard. 

PCL Enhanced Mode 

PCL Enhanced is the best print-quality mode for presentations. This mode 

produces superior text resolution and vibrant, saturated color prints.

  At the printer control panel, use the arrows to navigate to Printer Setup, then press OK.

  Navigate to PCL Setup, then press OK. 

3.

  To set enhanced print-quality, navigate to Enhanced Mode, then press OK.
