Appendix C ISN Deployment
Before You Begin
Naming Schemes
Define naming schemes to be used for ICM PGs, Peripherals and routing clients.
Installation
Before using the information in this appendix, you need to do the following:

Install the ISN software.
•
Install all the solution components.
•
If you are using ISN as an ICM queuing platform, make sure the VRU PGs use service control with
Service Control Queue Reporting enabled. If you are using it strictly as a self-service platform,
disable Service Control Queue Reporting. Also, take note of the VRU Connection Port used for each
VRU PG peripheral (PIM).
