Administering MeetingPlace Using a Crossover LAN Cable Connection
You can also connect a computer directly to the MeetingPlace server
with a crossover LAN cable. (You can purchase an Ethernet 10
Base-T/100Base-TX crossover cable in most electronics stores.)

If your MeetingPlace server is connected to the LAN, and you want to
access the MeetingPlace server using the crossover cable while network
connectivity is down, do the following:
